5x139.7 înseamnă 5 prezoane pe un cerc cu diametrul de 139.7 mm. Pe lângă prindere, janta trebuie să aibă ET-ul (offsetul) permis de producătorul mașinii și un alezaj central (CB) cel puțin egal cu butucul; dacă e mai mare, se folosesc inele de centrare.
